I'm Chris.

Welcome to my photography journey!

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories include my Grandfather presenting slide shows (actual film slides!) of our family travels. I can still smell the basement and hear the projector fan. We would all moan a bit (especially my Grandmother), but looking back on it, those were formative moments. In high school and college I enrolled in film photography classes, using an old Minolta 35mm camera that my Mom gave me. I've always enjoyed documenting the people, family, friends, and places around me as a way to preserve a moment in time. With the more modern inventions of social media like Instagram, I've also found that I enjoy the storytelling component of photography as much as making a memorable photo.

Most of my modern photography interests lie in travel, adventure, and action. I'm always watching what's around me for unique angles or perspectives that catch my attention or just make me happy. This may include new perspectives on an old landscape, exploring lightning and angles during sporting events, or finding hidden gems while travelling. I enjoy a good candid portrait from time to time as well.

I'm very excited to share my perspective with you here. I have old stories to tell and new adventures to be had. I hope you'll follow along as I continue to evolve as a photographer and explore our beautiful planet and its many wonderous places and people. Thank you for joining me!
